College Editorial Design Project
Overview:
This project involved designing a conceptual editorial spread for Teen Vogue, spotlighting the global K-pop phenomenon TWICE. The layout aimed to reflect the magazine's trendy, youthful tone while emphasizing the group's visual and musical appeal.
Objective:
Design a full magazine feature — including the cover, multi-page article layout, and visual composition — that captures the vibrant energy of TWICE and aligns with Teen Vogue’s editorial style. The goal was to blend informative storytelling with bold, fashion-forward aesthetics suitable for a youth-driven publication.
My Role: Cover layout design | Typography selection and styling | Page composition for the feature article | Color palette and visual consistency across spreads
This involved adapting real editorial content into a fresh, engaging design tailored to Teen Vogue’s audience and brand.
Tools Used: Adobe InDesign | Adobe Photoshop
Design Approach
The cover was designed to feel iconic and polished, channeling high-fashion vibes while spotlighting all members of TWICE.
Inside pages used a bright color palette and contrasting typographic styles to create rhythm and visual interest, echoing the duality of TWICE’s bold music videos and softer personal narratives.
Page composition followed traditional magazine structure but with creative hierarchy to guide the reader’s eye from visuals to key quotes and article content.
